SONDER THE BAND

Artwork for a great (and unfortunately former) Belgian metal band. They asked my to make the artwork for the self-titled album. One of their songs on the album was about the battle between good and evil, which was depicted in this illustration by two types of birds.
The swan being the symbol of beauty, serenity and goodness. Next to 2 ravens, commonly associated with evil, death and so on. But on the cover it turnes out a little different. I Had a blast making this, getting “carte blanche” can be really cool sometimes.
